Twitch Spotify Song Requests is a web application that enables Twitch streamers to integrate Spotify music playback with their streams. The Service provides:

  • Song request system via Twitch chat commands (using StreamElements)
  • Real-time OBS widgets displaying currently playing music
  • Dashboard with playback controls and analytics
  • Integration between Spotify and Twitch platforms

3. User Requirements and Eligibility

To use this Service, you must:

  • Have an active Spotify Premium account (required for playback control and queue functionality)
  • Be a Twitch streamer or content creator
  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • Comply with Spotify's Terms of Service and Twitch's Terms of Service
  • Not be prohibited from accessing the Service under applicable law

4. Account Registration and Security

When you connect your Spotify account:

  • You authorize us to access your Spotify account using OAuth 2.0
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your API credentials or access with others
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You may revoke access at any time via Spotify's account settings

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purposes or to violate any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or networks
  • Abuse, overload, or otherwise interfere with our API endpoints or infrastructure

  • Music Content: All music, tracks, and albums are owned by respective artists, labels, and rights holders. Spotify controls music licensing and availability.
  • Service Software: The Service's code, design, and features are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • Trademarks: Spotify and Twitch are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify AB or Twitch Interactive, Inc.
  • User Data: You retain ownership of your account data and content.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • StreamElements or Twitch service disruptions
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

  • Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness
